We lightly sand each beam to remove loose dirt and splinters while maintaining the weathered patina. Then we coat with a clear water based polyurethane. A durable finish that highlights the wood's natural color and one-of-a-kind character.
We hand fabricate the bench legs from 2" wide American made steel tubing and finish with an extremely durable black powder coating. The beam bolts onto the legs for an incredibly sturdy bench.

Salvaged from demolition homes, these beams are full of cool characteristics: nail holes, saw marks, plaster lines, and color variations. All surface imperfections are natural and tell a story, making each piece unique and truly one of a kind.
With the "natural" reclaimed pine, we simply sand and finish the wood. This produces a darker overall color and texture with a slightly uneven surface.

I love this bench! I needed a certajn size to fit in a specific place in my foyer and they were able to work with me. They responded quickly and the bench came when expected. I am so thrilled with this bench! We are a shoe-free home and desperately needed a bench for our condo-sized entry way. Most benches were too thick and/or unable to support the weight of two adults. My year-long search lead me here, to this 10 inch wide by 54 inch long bench. I love the business model of using reclaimed wood and talent to create something new-again. I was nervous about the color, so Brandi (Vault Furniture) helped navigate wood choices. The bench arrived ahead of schedule and wrapped well enough to withstand transport. The end result is a bench that is even more beautiful than I could have anticipated! It easily holds both of us, the width is exactly as advertised and more than adequate for our purposes. The weathered/distressed look of the wood add a richness and warmth to our entryway.

The. bench is. wonderful. It is very solidly built with clean lines and a touch of character thanks to the expert finishing of reclaimed timber. The packing was expertly done with the bench legs safely tucked around the timber and screws were very easy to insert so assembly took only a couple of minutes.
