Each American-made computer desk is hand-made to order. The top is constructed from 1.5" thick old growth pine salvaged from demolition homes throughout the Mid-West. The rustic wood is full of cool characteristics, such as nail holes, plaster lines, and color variations.
We finish all our wood with Agualente® PLUS Clear, which is a commercial-grade water borne coating pro-rated for interior wood surfaces. This finish has low VOC and it is GREENGUARD Certified, meaning it is non-toxic and produces no hazardous off-gassing during cure. This finish is resistant to yellowing and stains, making it ideal for household furniture.
The reclaimed wood computer desk legs are custom fabricated from 1.5" American made steel tubing. The power cord runs through the back leg for a seamless plug in. After fabrication, the legs are professionally powder coated black. Powder coating is applied as dry powder through an electrostatic process, then cured with heat. Powder coating is well known for providing a high-quality, durable finish, that is aesthetically pleasing and much more environmentally friendly than its traditional paint counterpart.
